AIW Swap Arrival!

I'm savoring the surprise for moment.

This is so what I would do:)

Sighs of Happiness

Jenn Sue you are so amazing. I love the apron! It will be my "company's coming' apron. I truly love it. Just perfect.

The audio book of AIW -you have no idea how much time I spend on the world famous 405 - this will be fully enjoyed.

The oven mitt, pot holder and towel will be well used in my kitchen.

Where do I start on the Alaska Tea Cup? It's so incredible - love it.

The pattern will come in handy too - christmas is right around the corner you know?

Same with the adorable teacup fabric you sent!

Thank you so much and I know you have been so incredibly busy with your daughter's wedding and packing up to move. I truly appreciate all your time and effort to make my apron and the tuckin's so special.

So I know I said I was going to get these in the mail on Saturday - well, I have a husband, and a job, and two little wiener dogs that some how prevented that from happening. I also just wasn't happy with Absolem. He got a make over last night and now he's cute and I'm ok with sending him off.

Not to be diverted from my mission - both aprons have now been sent to their new homes and owners.

I'm kinda sad to be sending them. It signals the end of this wonderful swap.

Apron Swappin'

I've 100% finished my partner's apron and tuck ins for the Alice in Wonderland Hot Mama Apron Swap. Even have the shoe box for it all to go in. Just need to wrap it up and make it all fun and pretty.

The apron I am angeling for Stacey is 95% done - just need to fix one seam that I saw yesterday and add some antennae to Absolem.

Then I can pack them both up and get them on their way to their new homes.

This has been the most fun swap in a long time. On the main swap blog - everyone has been posting pics of their fabric, tuck ins, aprons, and just sharing. This swap has so much sewing talent in it!

So come Saturday, my boxes will be mailed and on their way so I can get busy stalking my mail box for mine!! :)

I'm Early for AIW Swap

I finished the apron...well mostly anyway - I may change out the neck tie to a red satin. Then I'll add the heart buttons and some sort of heart flower thingy I'm dreaming up. For some reason you can not see the layer of black tulle on the very bottom...dang my picture taking skills have got to improve or use my hubs big fancy camera in stead of my phone.

I also finished of a Dia de los Muertos apron for my hairdresser. I like the dingle balls along the bottom with the tulle.
