Here are my first attempts into making those cute little pin heads that float around the sewing world.
Note, I cheapened out and bought the crayola modeling clay instead of fimo clay. I wanted to see if I could actually make something look like it was suppose to before I invested in good materials. Considering the modeling clay box came with 4 colors and cost me $0.94 at Target it wasn't a big investment.
I may have to get myself some pretty Fimo clays now. What do you think?

I would LOVE to be the proud recipient of that adorable yellow flower pin, just in case you needed someone to "review" your pins.....just sayin' :)
yes, it's fimo time!!!
I am fond of the flower myself. just think, every time you send a pincushion, it could have a special pin in it!!
you are so creative--i bet you have headaches daily with all that flowing around in your head LoL
thanks everyone! considering my only sculpting tool was a toothpick, i think they came out pretty good. Now I need to find some of those extra long pins to chop off for my toppers!
I have gotta try that...they are so cute!
Missy with your talent, I bet they would be so amazing!
Those are sooo cute! I think you need to do a tutorial....
Very cute. I use Fimo or Sculpty. My daughter loves to create with them. We just got some eraser clay(Sculpty I think) you create and bake the clay then use it as an eraser. We haven't tried it yet.
